This policy explains what data SA302 Estimate does and does not collect. The short version: the calculator itself collects nothing.
The calculator
Every figure you type into the calculator is processed entirely in your own browser. Nothing you enter, whether that's income, profit or dividends, is sent to us, written to a database, or stored on a server. Close the tab and it's gone. There is no account, no login, and no saved history.
Cookies and analytics
The core site does not set tracking cookies of its own. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which guides are useful; where we do, it does not identify you personally.
Advertising
This site displays ads to stay free. We use Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. For visitors in the UK and EEA, ad partners rely on your consent, which you can manage through the consent prompt shown on the site.
Data we hold
If you email us through the contact page, we hold that message so we can reply. We don't add you to any marketing list. We don't sell data, because we don't collect the kind of data there'd be anything to sell.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to delete it. As the calculator stores nothing, this will usually only apply to emails you've sent us. Contact us using the details on the contact page.
Changes
If this policy changes, for example when ad settings are updated, we'll revise the date at the top of this page.
